On July 7, 2023, the Bio+Mine team attended the preconference facilitated by the NCIP held at the Provincial Governor’s Office Conference Hall, Benguet Provincial Capitol to discuss the project’s objectives to the elders and barangay officials of Caliking, Atok to secure access to the Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) within Atok’s vicinity.

The MOU outlines the obligations and commitments of all parties involved in the project.

Ocular Visit to Tublay, Benguet
The Bio Plus Mine team visited Tublay, Benguet on 17-20 July 2022. The team discussed the project’s goals and activities with the representatives from National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP), Department of Environment and Natural Resources Cordillera Administrative Region (DENR-CAR), City Environment & Natural Resources Office (CENRO), Mines and Geosciences Bureau-Cordillera Administrative Region (MGB-CAR), and Tublay School of Home Industries.
